from seed to finish! this is a slubby cotton yarn that started in the dirt and went straight into my hands to be spun. I thank local raspberries and mulberries for the lovely lavender hue. I’ll be knitting up some cute things with this so keep a lookout as always. ❤

curious about my cotton plants? check out the story.

the headwraps are finally in the shop. get yours here! some of these are OOAK and limited stock so get them before they’re gone.

also, my girl Maya makes these look so good!

here’s a little preview of the headbands I’ve been making! they’ll be up in the shop within the week. keep your eyes peeled and pick them up quickly because some of these are OOAK and limited stock!

check out these Kae Q! wrap turbans, coming soon in spring 2013! these are made with silky soft bamboo fiber (the striped one contains a li’l bit of wool).

these photos show one headband style I’ll be offering in the shop. the other style is similar to this, except that it’s a headscarf that ties around the head. this means it’s more versatile and adjustable to size.

I’ve whipped up some different colors and designs for each style, so keep a lookout for some new eye candy.

p.s. better photos coming soon too.

I’m working on cranking out a few more headbands for the shop. This is one of my favorites, but I love stripes. And bamboo fiber. So shiny, so silky, so soft!

For most people, the word “spinning” conjures up images of sports bras, sweatbands, and stationary bicycles. In my world, spinning is a way that I can create a raw source of material for my future work.
